State Your Opinion!
Are song writers poets? Justify your answer with solid and clear reasons. Give examples to support your thinking. Think about poetic structures such as meter, alliteration, onomatopoeia, rhyme, simile, metaphor, sensory language, imagery, etc.
I think yes song writers are poets because when they write they have a lot of meater. i also think yes because when you slow down and read what they write it really slows your body down and you really understand what the song writer is saying it has a lot more meaning than you think when you hear it on the radio.
YES BECAUSE THE HAVE TO WRITE IT AND MAKE UP STUFF FROM THERE LIVES OR WHAT THEY SEE AND THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT RYME AND THEY GOT TO PUT IT IN A LIST AND FIND OUT WITCH IS THE BEST AND MAKE A SONG OUT OF THE WORDS THAT ARE THE BEST BY:JS 6TH
Yes, i think song writers are poets beacase you might not notice it but mostly every song is a poem! Some song writers might show it in different ways like similes, metaphores, or idioms. Also song writers use personification and other trates that poems include.
I do think that song writers are poets. If you write the lyrics down and say it as a poem I think it has a lot of meter to it. I think rap is the best kind of poem for a song. I think that because they usally rhyme. Not every poems rhyme but some do. I also think rap has a lot of similes and metaphors too. I do think song writers are poets.
In my opinion,I think that song writers are poets because based on what I see and read,they both try to get a message to you the reader or the listener.
JCD Block 2 Yes i think that song writers are poets because some songs have rhyming words. But that doesn't say its a poem. Songs have a beat to them. They alos have a meter. The song writer expresses how they feel in a song and that's what poets do too.
